A Personal Process

Every Journey Begins With a Conversation

No two travellers are the same, so no two Adventure Alba tours are either. We do not sell off-the-shelf packages — we listen, research, and design a private journey that follows your interests through Scotland. Here is exactly how that planning unfolds, step by step.

The Planning Steps

Seven Steps to Your Confirmed Itinerary

A transparent path from first hello to the moment your journey is locked in.

  1. 01

    The First Conversation

We begin with a relaxed, no-obligation chat by phone, email, or WhatsApp. You tell us what you would love to see in Scotland — the landscapes, cities, and experiences that appeal to you — and we listen.

  2. 02

    Your Interests & Priorities

We map out what draws you most: castles and historic houses, dramatic glens and lochs, whisky distilleries, coastal villages, walking, photography, or quiet time in the countryside. Your passions set the tone of the journey.

  3. 03

    Group Size & Pace

Tell us who is travelling and how you like to move. Whether it is a couple, a family of eight, or a group of friends, we match the vehicle, the daily rhythm, and the rest stops to your group.

  4. 04

    Dates & Duration

Share your travel window and how many days you have. We advise on the best seasons for your route, flag any events or closures, and shape an itinerary that fits comfortably within your time.

  5. 05

    Must-See Places

Give us your non-negotiables — a particular castle, a famous viewpoint, a distillery, or a stretch of coastline you have dreamed of. We build the route around them and fill the spaces between with hidden gems.

  6. 06

    Draft Itinerary & Refinement

We send a detailed draft itinerary with each day mapped out. You review it, we refine it together, and we adjust until every stop feels right — no detail too small.

  7. 07

    Confirmed Itinerary

Once you are happy, we confirm your dates, secure your accommodation and attraction tickets, and send your final itinerary. Your private driver-guide takes care of everything from there.
